Thank you Xeni Jardin on Boing Boing (who got it from From Ice-Tea Man) for bringing this delightful example of cattitude to my attention.

I first saw this at Spike and Mike's Festival of Animation at the Museum of Modern Art in La Jolla, CA. And it's been happily burned into my memory ever since. (yes, I do know that I'm a sick puppy)

Concerned About Too Many Carbs in Your Diet?
The Alchemist — Tue, 08/11/2009 - 5:02am
Here's a good one from my email archives.
For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all of those conflicting medical studies.
1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
4. The Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.
CONCLUSION:
Eat and drink what you like.
Speaking English is apparently what kills you.
Tom Lehrer - The Elements
The Alchemist — Tue, 08/11/2009 - 4:53am
A long time ago, in a childhood far, far away, a boy got hooked on the comedy songs of Tom Leher. Now you can easily blame his parents for exposing him to this egregious example of psychological abuse, but they knew not how much it would warp his developing mind and twist his sense of humor.
But enough about me, allow me to share with you one of the more famous songs by the illustrious Tom Lehrer, comedian and abuser of the public psyche. Creator of such immortal songs as "the Masochism Tango" and "Silent E" (as seen on "the Electric Company" children's TV series).
