I found this to be an exceptional image because Lissa's command of light and composition make her a photographer to watch. Her images contain layer upon layer of meaning, just waiting to be discovered, especially in this image

Here she's crafted a very dramatic image of contrasting thematic elements that make for a very powerful symbolic statement. It conveys to me the very powerful and emotional moment when everything is balanced perfectly and you just know that something beautiful is happening but you're not quite sure what it is yet, and you're waiting for it to unfold.
